Role - Civil Engineer (Executive/AM)

Responsibilities

• Oversee all civil-related works, including repairs and maintenance, requiring expert supervision.
• Monitor the operation of STP, WTP, and OWC plants.
• Monitor Glazing and Plumbing works.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, including structural elements, mechanical systems, and electrical components.
• Implement preventive maintenance strategies to prevent breakdowns and prolong the lifespan of facilities.
• Address and resolve damage or deterioration to buildings, such as cracks, leaks, or structural issues.
• Plan and oversee renovation projects to modernize or improve facilities.
• Ensure compliance with all building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Review and approve tenant architectural and MEP drawings in accordance with client guidelines and SOPs.
• Oversee the implementation of all HSE requirements by tenants as per the defined SOPs.
• Ensure all necessary documentation is completed by tenants prior to the commencement of work.
• Monitor and enforce work permit procedures as outlined in the SOPs.
• Ensure adherence to permitted working hours for all tenant fit-out activities.
• Monitor material management processes by tenants according to the established SOPs.
• Enforce the safety disciplinary policy among the tenant fit-out teams.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within a facilities management or construction environment.
• Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
