Job Description

India Technology Centre - Tax and SEZ Compliance Specialist

Direct and Indirect tax and SEZ regulations

Entity: CNH Industrial Technology Services (India) Private Limited

Managing the Direct Indirect tax activities and all SEZ compliances and reporting for ITC (India Technology Centre)

Ensure all direct and indirect tax and SEZ compliances for ITC

Add value by advising the business on different matters pertaining to direct and indirect tax and SEZ regulations

Minimize risk when taking decisions and calls.

Utilize the available incentives and strategize to ensure optimization of cash tax

Liase with relevant consultants and ensure that direct/ indirect tax and SEZ related disputes are minimized

Manage and monitor tax and compliance calendar and actively provide inputs for internal process improvements for better compliance. Provide regular updates to business the leadership for tax and SEZ compliance matters

Regularly and proactively liase with all stakeholders (internal and external) to educate all in relation to the various tax and regulatory compliance requirements for working out of an SEZ unit and update regarding all changes in laws and regulations and the impact thereof so that the organization is able to achieve objectives on a timely basis.

Have proficiency in working with SAP/ other ERP systems

Focus on improving automation and utilization of digital tools and systems to improve accuracy and turn around time for reporting and compliances

Education/Qualifications:

CA/MBA/MCom.

Minimum 8-10 years experience in Tax and SEZ matters (Knowledge and experience of SEZ regulatory requirements is mandatory)

Accuracy and precision;

Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated

Willingness to take lead on additional projects and take it to logical conclusion with minimal direction

Ability to read, apply to situations and seek examples from peers across industry

Cross-functional, multi-level collaboration skills

Ability to come back from transitional issues, in the wake of setbacks and look at issues from a logical perspective.
