What will you drive?
Campus Hiring:
Lead the end-to-end campus recruitment process for our frontline roles such as Evaluation Engineers, Retail Associates, Procurement Associates, Relationship Managers at PAN India level.
Be our Ambassador to all Tier 1 & 2 Institutions/colleges in the tier 1, 2 & 3 cities of India.
Conducting market research on the latest campus hiring trends, salary benchmarks and current market strategies to stay competitive in attracting top talent. Also Identify and analyze the most promising institutions and regions to build strategic partnerships for campus hiring along with gathering data on student preferences, placement dynamics, and academic calendars to optimize hiring strategies.
Develop and execute a structured campus hiring plan with targeted strategies to attract students from diverse academic backgrounds and skill sets as desired for frontline specific roles.
Employer Branding: Enhance the organization's presence and reputation on campuses by building relationships with key university stakeholders, faculty, and student organizations. Represent the company at career fairs, networking events, and other campus initiatives to showcase the company's culture and opportunities.
Campus Engagement: Plan and organize campus events such as recruitment drives, webinars, workshops, and internship programs to engage with students, promote the organization's brand, and establish strong pipelines for future hires.
Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with career services, student clubs, and campus influencers. Collaborate with universities to understand their hiring needs and align recruitment strategies with their academic calendar.
Business Fulfilment: Screen, assess, and shortlist candidates based on required skill sets, academic background, and cultural fit. Conduct interviews and campus drives year on year to fulfil business needs and periodic resource demands.
Data-Driven Insights: Track, analyze, and report recruitment metrics to senior leadership. Provide insights on campus recruitment trends, candidate preferences, and the effectiveness of different recruitment channels.
Seamless Onboarding: Work closely with HR and hiring managers to ensure smooth transitions for new hires from campus, including joinings on a regular basis.
Travel across Tier 1, 2, and 3 cities to represent CARS24 at campus drives and build strong, lasting partnerships with academic institutions.
Who Are We Looking For?
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- At least 5 years of extensive campus hiring experience for filling the frontline roles in a fast-paced sales focused environment.
- Strong with Data: Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and leverage data.
Business Acumen:
- Ability to understand business requirements and align campus hiring strategies to meet business objectives.
Communication & Influence:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels of the organization and the institutions/universities.
Problem-Solving:
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address and resolve complex hiring issues quickly and effectively.
Adaptability:
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Campus Savvy:
- Experience or a keen interest in working with academic institutions and understanding the campus environment. A background in recruitment or campus relations is a MUST.
Multitasker:
- Ability to manage multiple campus recruitment activities/ drives simultaneously at PAN India level. A strong planner with exceptional coordination and execution skills.
Passionate Advocate:
- Passionate about connecting students with career opportunities and advocating for the organization's brand on campus.
Goal-Oriented:
- Results-driven with a focus on meeting hiring targets and delivering high-quality candidates for the organization.
