What will you drive?
As the Talent Acquisition Lead, you will be at the forefront of our hiring strategies, ensuring we build high-performing teams aligned with our business objectives. Your role will focus on mass hiring, frontline recruitment, and campus hiring while optimizing recruitment processes and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
1. Mass Hiring & Frontline Recruitment:
- Lead and manage high-volume hiring projects to meet business demands within tight timelines.
- Develop strategies to attract, screen, and onboard the best talent for frontline roles, ensuring alignment with company values and business goals.
- Leverage innovative sourcing methods, including referrals, social media, and recruitment campaigns, to maintain a strong candidate pipeline.
- Driving the full spectrum of recruiting and selection activities.
- Creating and implementing talent acquisition strategies for hiring across India.
- Designing and driving the adoption of consistent recruiting, interviewing, and hiring practices that support a strong candidate experience.
- Identifying and partnering with external providers as required to ensure hiring needs are met.
- Defining and leading projects focused on continuous improvement.
- Help ensure the team is structured and aligned to adequately meet changing business priorities.
- Sourcing and managing a consistent and high-quality talent pool of candidates to support the business delivery.
- Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent.
- Driving the recruitment process within designated departments and ensuring that recruitment processes are completed within the stipulated time and budget.
- Coordinating with business heads to ensure recruitment efforts are in sync with the business needs, leveraging new technology and channels in the recruitment space in coordination with stakeholders.
- Reviewing market data periodically to benchmark compensation across new roles and positions in assigned departments to bring market-wide parity for those positions.
2. Campus Hiring:
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with Tier-1 & 2 institutions (PAN India) to recruit top talent year on year.
- Work with the Head of People and Culture team to execute off-campus and on-campus recruitment drives year on year including pre-placement talks, assessments, and offer rollouts.
- Drive employer branding initiatives to position CARS24 as an employer of choice among students and young professionals.
3. Recruitment Strategy & Execution:
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand hiring requirements and create a recruitment plan to address current and future talent needs.
- Use data-driven insights to identify gaps, predict hiring trends, and improve recruitment efficiency.
- Continuously refine recruitment processes to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
4. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
- Manage and mentor a team of recruiters to achieve hiring targets and deliver high-quality hires.
- Partner with stakeholders across departments to align recruitment efforts with business objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on talent acquisition strategies, market trends, and best practices.
5. Metrics & Reporting:
- Track and report key recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, quality of hire and others.
- Analyze data to measure the success of recruitment campaigns and identify areas for improvement.

Experience & Expertise:
- 8+ years of overall experience in talent acquisition, with demonstrated expertise in:
- Mass hiring to scale up operations.
- Frontline recruitment to meet high-demand business needs.
- Campus hiring, including building long-term relationships with academic institutions.
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end recruitment processes and deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading large teams and successfully managing bulk, volume and corporate function hiring across India.

- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication to engage with candidates and stakeholders effectively.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret recruitment data and provide actionable insights to drive hiring strategies.
- Leadership: Strong people management skills to lead and inspire a team of recruiters.

- Adaptability: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving results under pressure.
Educational Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
