Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong functional understanding of customer journeys from a business perspective and possess the technical expertise to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
This role requires a proactive individual who can engage with clients, propose effective solutions, and guide them in optimizing their marketing automation strategies using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Key Responsibilities :
Solution Design & Implementation :
- Understand client business objectives and marketing goals to design and implement tailored Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions.
- Develop customer journeys that drive engagement and align with business strategies.
- Propose automation strategies and optimization recommendations based on business insights and best practices.
Client Engagement :
- Act as a trusted advisor, collaborating directly with clients to gather requirements and provide actionable recommendations.
- Conduct workshops and discovery sessions to identify marketing needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Present findings, solution approaches, and progress updates to stakeholders effectively.
Journey Development & Execution :
- Design, build, and execute end-to-end marketing journeys using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Mobile Studio.
- Ensure smooth execution of marketing campaigns and customer interactions across various channels.
- Regularly analyze and report on journey performance, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
Technical Implementation :
- Configure and maintain Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ensuring seamless integration with existing CRM systems and third-party tools.
- Manage segmentation strategies, personalization, and automation to optimize marketing efforts.
- Ensure data quality, compliance, and security best practices are adhered to.
Process Documentation & Support :
- Document business processes, technical configurations, and user guides for stakeholders.
- Provide hands-on support and training to marketing teams on using Salesforce Marketing Cloud effectively.
- Stay updated on new features and functionalities within the Salesforce ecosystem and recommend applicable enhancements.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 8+ years of experience in marketing automation with a strong focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Proven ability to design and implement marketing journeys from a business perspective.
- Strong understanding of customer segmentation, campaign management, and personalization techniques.
- Hands-on experience with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, and Contact Builder.
- Experience integrating Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other CRM and third-party platforms.
- Ability to analyze data, provide insights, and drive marketing optimization.
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and solutions effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Preferred Skills :
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (e., Marketing Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Email Specialist).
- Experience with scripting languages (AMPscript, SSJS) for personalized content creation.
- Familiarity with analytics tools and reporting dashboards.
- Understanding of marketing compliance regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, etc)
