Location: UAE

Relevant Experience: 4 to 10 Years experience

• Minimum of 4 years of design and development experience with Automotive OEM in core systems like body systems, BIW, Closures, Integration, etc.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Experience with automotive OEM or equivalent in BIW, Closures, other Body systems & Integration design and development.
• Components functional requirements, Vehicle product development, and testing knowledge.
• Must have knowledge of manufacturing process for both metal alloys & plastics.
• Must have strong hands-on experience in Automotive Eco system.
• Good knowledge of functional objectives of vehicle wrt durability and NVH, Crash and vehicle dynamics.
• Experience of packaging study and component design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Good analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and develop cost saving observations from live teardown.
• Collaborate with Teardown engineers, SMEs, and other stakeholders to understand:
• Mechanisms
• Materials
• Manufacturing Processes
• Costing, etc.
• Work with cross functional teams to reach a common goal
• Stay up to date on the latest engineering standards and practices.
• Create and maintain documentation libraries.
• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the given vehicle and prepare reports to communicate outcomes.
• Conduct internal training programs for team on the floor to implement changes periodically.
