Engineering Manager

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager with a strong technical background in full-stack development, including expertise in Django, React, Python, and Node.js . As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing a high-performance development team, guiding architecture decisions, creating efficient database structures, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions.

• Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Technical Guidance: Provide hands-on leadership across the full tech stack, including front-end and back-end development, with a strong focus on Django, React, Python, and Node.js .
• Architecture & Design: Collaborate with senior stakeholders to design robust, scalable, and secure architectures. Ensure best practices in software design, system architecture, and database structure.
• Project Management: Oversee project timelines, ensuring timely delivery of product milestones and maintaining a balance between innovation and product stability.
• Database Management: Design, develop, and optimize complex database structures to support scalable applications.
• Code Quality: Drive best practices for coding, testing, and deployment processes, ensuring the development of high-quality software.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, UI/UX, and DevOps, to deliver features that enhance the user experience and ensure smooth integration.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve team performance and product quality.
• Problem Solving: Actively troubleshoot issues, guide the team in identifying technical challenges, and propose effective solutions.

• Experience: 7+ years of software development experience, with 3+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Tech Stack Expertise: Strong experience with Django, React, Python, Node.js , and proficiency in designing scalable system architectures.
• Database Design: Proven experience in creating and managing complex database structures (SQL/NoSQL).
• Leadership Skills: Experience in managing and mentoring engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Architecture & System Design: Experience in designing software architectures, creating architecture diagrams, and ensuring system scalability.
• Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with agile development practices, and experience in project management tools such as Jira.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving complex technical issues.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical ideas to stakeholders.

• DevOps Knowledge: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, etc.).
• Scalability: Experience in building and scaling large, distributed applications with high traffic.
• Security Best Practices: Understanding of security frameworks and practices for building secure, HIPAA-compliant applications.
• Full-Stack Leadership: Proven ability to lead both front-end and back-end teams, delivering cohesive and integrated solutions.
