Business Development Executive

Responsibilities:

• Signing up new stores as per AOP expansion opportunity in the region.
• Achieve Business results (Store months & Revenue from new stores) as per AOP targets by timely opening new stores in the region.
• Ensure that ROI performance for new stores is achieved as per projection in the first 6 months of operations.
• Proactively plan the relocation and expansion of existing stores based on business requirements.
• Evaluate, and develop existing and new Business Partners & onboard them for expansion.

Skills Required:

• Able to understand the business and closely work with the regional operations team on the expansion requirement.
• Able to source/ scout properties through IPC in the region
• Good understanding of local markets, new development, and malls and have connections with leading developers, the mall leasing team
• Able to maintain a good long-term association with real estate consultants while adhering to company policies and TCOC guidelines.
• Proactively identifying & evaluating new locations in the region by using Omni business data and market visits.
• Property evaluation and signing up as per business requirements and guidelines.
• Business partner evaluation and onboarding are performed as per business requirements and processes.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for timely execution and opening of retail stores.

Experience required:

• Min 2 to 7 years of relevant Business Development experience, must have done at the regional level or nation-wide expansion in the retail industry)
• Able to adhere to the business development process
• Ensure to follow the required documentation and legal compliance process.
• Ensure proper MIS, tracker is maintained for properties and prospects for consideration for business partners.
• Able to understand and make accurate ROI projections and ensure expansion is aligned with business requirements along with the regional operations team.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders (finance, legal, operations team) for faster processing & expansion.

Educational Qualification:

• Postgraduate / Graduate
• MBA with relevant Business Development experience preferred.
