Manager - Planning

1. Production Planning & Scheduling:

• Develop and maintain production schedules: This involves creating detailed plans for manufacturing operations, considering factors like order deadlines, resource availability (labor, materials, equipment), and production capacity.
• Capacity Planning: Analyze production capacity and identify potential bottlenecks to ensure efficient resource utilization.
• Shop Floor Control: Oversee the day-to-day production activities on the shop floor, ensuring adherence to schedules and resolving any production-related issues.

2. Inventory Management:

• Manage inventory levels: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to minimize holding costs and prevent stockouts.
• Materials Requirement Planning (MRP): Implement and manage MRP systems to optimize material procurement and ensure timely availability of components.
• Demand Forecasting: Analyze demand trends and forecast future demand to optimize production planning.
• .Prepare regular reports on production performance, including key metrics such as on-time delivery, production output, and production costs.
• Communicate effectively with other departments, such as- purchasing, Sampling, and quality control, to ensure smooth coordination and information flow.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and make informed decisions.
