Job Description: IT Product Specialist  PIM Configuration and integration

We are looking for an IT Product Specialist with experience in software configuration and a strong understanding of product data models and lifecycles to join our team. The role focuses on working with our Product Information Management (PIM) system, specifically Akeneo, and our middleware Eagle, to ensure seamless configuration and integration of product data across PIM and multiple third-party systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and manage product data models and their lifecycles.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient data flow across systems.
• Configure attributes, rules, imports, and exports within the Akeneo PIM system.
• Edit JSON configuration files, and work with REST APIs for system integration within Eagle middleware.
• Perform JavaScript-like scripting to customize data mapping.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of data modeling concepts, specifically product data models, and proven experience in managing data models, including creating attributes, defining relationships, and ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Proficiency with software configuration and system integration.
• Working knowledge modify JSON configuration files.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript .
• Working knowledge of REST APIs.
• Past experience with PIM systems (like Akeneo) preferred but not required.

This position does not require deep software development experience but does require technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Someone passionate about product data management and system integration.

1. Someone with minimum three years working knowledge of data modeling concepts, specifically product data models, and proven experience in managing data models, including creating attributes, defining relationships, and ensuring alignment with business requirements.
2. Three years experience with Javascript-like/Json scripting should be ok.
3. I think someone smart with three/five years experience working with IT systems configuration and the above would be good.
4. Some experience with REST API is required. Doesn't have to be a hard core developer, but at least some experience dealing with APIs.
