PLM Teamcenter Engineer

A minimum of 10 years of practical experience in handling technical aspects of Teamcenter & NX, Cloud installation, configuration, development, and support in the engineering and/or manufacturing industries.•

Below is a list of tasks that an employee is responsible for in managing and supporting various software systems:

• Manage Access Manager, Workflows, Organization, TC Visualization, Classification, and NX Manager within the AWS cloud environment.
• Provide structured management by creating Revision Rules and Variant Rules, configuring Assemblies using established business rules, and installing and configuring the latest versions of Active Workspace.
• Create batch scripts for different Teamcenter purposes and configure ACLs, Workflows, Organization, TC Visualization, and NX Manager.
• Assist in setting up TC and AW servers in the AWS cloud and create documents defining processes and procedures for installation and best practices in Teamcenter.
• Experience in Clout end-to-end setup, configuration and maintenance.
• Act as a point of contact for problem resolution and resolve key systemic production issues.
• Support daily Multisite user issues in the U.S., troubleshoot and resolve Multisite Share, Transfer and data sync issues, as well as various user issues like TC client setup, connection issues, data and process lock issues, TC-NX integration issues, and import/export issues.
• Possess declarative programming expertise and AWBuild command experience.
• Customize stylesheet with preference updates to accommodate functionality, and configure Extending Active Workspace (workspaces, tiles, tile collections, etc.).
• Work with a geographically dispersed team in a collaborative online environment to achieve project objectives and possess Teamcenter and Active Workspace with admin and user support skillsets.
• Possess strong communication skills and the ability to customize Teamcenter server, Active Workspace Client, Rich client, thin client, and integrations with NX.
• Possess analytical skills with expertise in overall Teamcenter products to solve Teamcenter end-user issues, and the ability to create test scripts for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and conduct end-to-end unit testing, system integration, and UAT to include:
• Unit testing, system integration, and UAT testing.
• Document test cases for system integration testing and UA.
• Interface with the CAD vendor/Teamcenter administrator for troubleshooting and improvements, contribute to improvements in PLM processes and the resulting changes in NX and supported CAD systems, and work with the Teamcenter administrator to review and evaluate Teamcenter and NX releases.
• Expertise in NX customization
• Assist and coordinate with the internal IT team as needed for CAD software upgrades and CAD user admin activities, work with users to develop/update tool customizations to improve efficiency, and drive the development and maintenance of common parts and features.
• Keep abreast of new versions, features, and modules and disseminate information to the user community, provide a robust CAD operating environment through promptly responding to user requests for support including troubleshooting NX, provide operational support to Teamcenter and CAD users, including managing user access, permissions, and licensing, support/deliver training to new and existing staff, and create and maintain documentation for user support processes.
• Drive continuous improvement and implement best practices in the software systems to optimize their performance.
