Job Description
- Oversee daily operations across travel-related functions, ensuring smooth workflow and exceptional customer service.
- Manage relationships with travel suppliers, agents, and service providers to optimize performance.
- Drive operational excellence through process improvements, cost optimization, and service delivery enhancements.
- Monitor and evaluate operational performance metrics to ensure targets are met.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align operational activities with business objectives.
- Lead and mentor the operations team, ensuring clear communication and efficient execution of tasks.
- Troubleshoot operational challenges and resolve them in a timely and effective manner.
- Prepare reports and presentations on operational performance for senior management.
- Manage the budget for the operations department and ensure efficient resource allocation.
Youll be perfect for the role if you have:
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Travel, or related field. MBA is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within the travel industry.
- Strong understanding of the travel industrys operational processes, including booking systems, customer support, and vendor management.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
- Proficiency in travel management systems and software tools
