Day in the life:

• Oversee daily operations across travel-related functions, ensuring smooth workflow and exceptional customer service.
• Manage relationships with travel suppliers, agents, and service providers to optimize performance.
• Drive operational excellence through process improvements, cost optimization, and service delivery enhancements.
• Monitor and evaluate operational performance metrics to ensure targets are met.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align operational activities with business objectives.
• Lead and mentor the operations team, ensuring clear communication and efficient execution of tasks.
• Troubleshoot operational challenges and resolve them in a timely and effective manner.
• Prepare reports and presentations on operational performance for senior management.
• Manage the budget for the operations department and ensure efficient resource allocation.

Youll be perfect for the role if you have:

• Bachelor s degree in Business, Travel, or related field. MBA is a plus.
• 7+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within the travel industry.
• Strong understanding of the travel industrys operational processes, including booking systems, customer support, and vendor management.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
• Proficiency in travel management systems and software tools.
