Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
    • Analyze market data to develop strategies for reaching new markets and enhancing service offerings.
  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Identify and target potential B2B clients through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business development goals and revenue targets.
    • Present and demonstrate MedPlus Diagnostics' services to potential clients, highlighting the benefits of our subscription model.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
    • Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and addressing any issues or concerns.
    • Regularly engage with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored diagnostic solutions.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement business development plans.
    • Identify new market opportunities and create strategies to capture them.
    • Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities.
  • Partnerships and Alliances:
    • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with relevant stakeholders, including healthcare providers, insurance companies, and industry associations.
    • Negotiate and manage contracts and agreements with partners.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the marketing, operations, and product development teams to align business development efforts with overall company goals.
    • Provide feedback and insights from the market to help shape product development and marketing strategies.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the healthcare or diagnostics industry.B2B sales experience a must.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales and subscription-based business models.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
