Business Development Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition:
- Identify and approach potential clients, including architects, interior designers, builders, purchase managers, and HNIs.
- Leverage market insights and industry networks to expand the client base and increase market coverage.
Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients by delivering superior products and services.
- Provide personalized solutions to meet client needs, ensuring repeat business and customer referrals.
Business Expansion:
- Identify new business opportunities and foster relationships in the home furnishing and hospitality sectors, including but not limited to commercial spaces, hotels, resorts, and high-end residential projects.
Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify target markets, industry trends, and competitor activities.
- Provide insights and actionable recommendations to inform business strategies.
Sales Targets & Performance:
- Set and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas while ensuring the company's growth and revenue objectives are met.
Strategic Development:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute effective business development strategies to penetrate new markets and increase revenue.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of client orders, delivery timelines, and service quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or client management within the home furnishing, hospitality, or interior design sectors.
- Strong understanding of the home furnishing industry and/or hospitality sales, including market trends and customer needs.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and a team player.
