Senior Software Development Engineer - Test - API Testing (3-8 yrs)

Job Description :

How will your day look at Bureau?

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, participate in sprint planning, and share testing strategies.

- Create, review, and maintain automated test cases for new features, ensuring thorough coverage of functionality.

- Perform API testing using Rest Assured and Java, validating system behaviour and business requirements.

- Conduct manual and automated testing for different aspects of the product including API, UI, and performance, ensuring end-to-end quality.

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.

- Work on building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch for new feature rollouts.

- Collaborate with the DevOps team to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues, with a focus on identifying root causes using server-side logs and system monitoring.

What does it take to be in this role?

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field.

- Previous experience working as a QA manual and automation engineer.

- Hand-on experience in testing and automating integration platforms using REST APIs with Java.

- 2-6 years of experience Strong experience in Testing Concepts, Defect Management, Test Case writing and reviewing of test cases.

- Working knowledge of AWS, UNIX or Linux systems.
