Hiring Index Product Manager

Dear Candidate,

Experience : 4 to 5 Years Experience in index product management, financial analysis, or a related role.

Education Requirement: Bachelors degree in Statistics, Finance, Economics, Business

Role and Responsibilities:

The INDEX Product Manager will be responsible for the maintenance, construction, and review of company indices. They will oversee corporate actions and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of index adjustments. This role will also track competitive benchmarks and make strategic recommendations to maintain the company's competitive edge in the market.

Responsibilities: -

1. INDEX Maintenance: Regularly review, update, and ensure the accuracy of indices in line with company standards and methodologies.

2. Corporate Action: Oversee and implement necessary index adjustments due to corporate actions such as mergers, acquisitions, and dividends.

3. INDEX Construction: Work closely with the AMC product and Investment teams to design, build, and launch new indices that meet market demands and company objectives.

4. Knowledge of tools Extremely adept with MS Excel and Power BI tool. A decent understanding of SQL and Python for data extraction and analysis

5. Competition Tracking: Monitor competitor indices and benchmarks, analyzing trends, performance, and methodologies to ensure our indices remain competitive.

6. Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, research, and technology teams to communicate updates and gather data & feedback on INDEX products.

7. Market Research: Stay updated on financial markets, regulatory changes, and industry trends that could impact index methodologies and compositions.

8. Stakeholder Communication: Engage with clients, investors, and other stakeholders to gather feedback and address any queries or concerns related to the company's index products.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Statistics, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees and certifications are a plus.
• Experience in index product management, financial analysis, or a related role.
• Very strong analytical and quantitative skills to help in predictive modelling
• Knowledge of financial markets and index methodologies.
• Proficient in using financial databases and analytical tools.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
• Out of the box thinker and self-driven with an ability to generate great monetizable index ideas
