Job Title: Store Manager / Logistics Manager Pharma Formulations
Location: Brindavan phosphates Pvt Ltd, Plot No 209-210, GIDC, Panoli, Gujarat 394116
Department: Stores & Logistics
Reports To: Production Head.

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Store Manager/Logistics Manager to join our pharmaceutical team. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in managing stores, inventory, and logistics in the pharmaceutical formulations sector. The role involves overseeing efficient inventory management, logistics operations, and ensuring that all materials, including raw materials, packaging, and finished goods, are stored, handled, and dispatched according to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management:
    • Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, including raw materials, excipients, packaging materials, and finished products.
    • Maintain optimal stock levels, minimizing stockouts and overstock situations, and ensure inventory accuracy.
    • Monitor inventory movement, ensure proper labelling, and track materials in accordance with FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) principles.
    • Ensure timely stock replenishment to support uninterrupted production and distribution.
  • Logistics Coordination:
    • Coordinate and manage the transportation and distribution of materials to meet production schedules and customer demands.
    • Work closely with third-party logistics providers, managing contracts, shipments, and delivery schedules.
    • Ensure efficient handling of both inbound and outbound shipments, minimizing delays and discrepancies.
    • Monitor the condition of goods during transportation and storage to prevent damage and ensure product quality.
  • Warehouse Operations:
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and organized storage of all materials.
    • Ensure compliance with safety standards, handling guidelines, and pharmaceutical storage regulations (such as temperature-sensitive materials).
    • Supervise warehouse staff and ensure that all processes are streamlined for maximum efficiency and productivity.
    • Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Documentation:
    • Ensure that all warehouse operations comply with pharmaceutical industry regulations, such as GDP (Good Distribution Practice) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
    • Ensure accurate documentation of all inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and stock transfers.
    • Prepare and maintain records for audits, including stock counts and compliance reports.
    • Handle necessary import/export documentation and liaise with regulatory bodies as required.
  • Cost Management & Reporting:
    • Monitor logistics and storage costs, looking for opportunities to optimize and reduce expenses.
    • Report on stock levels, logistics performance, and any discrepancies in inventory.
    • Prepare periodic reports on warehouse operations, inventory, and any challenges faced in logistics.
  • Team Leadership & Coordination:
    • Lead, train, and motivate a team of storekeepers, warehouse, and logistics personnel.
    • Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement within the team.
    • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., procurement, production, and sales) to ensure that material needs are met and logistical operations are aligned with company goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Science, or a related field. Additional certification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Warehousing would be an advantage.
  • Experience:
    • 8-10 years of experience in store management, inventory control, and logistics, preferably in the pharmaceutical formulations sector.
    • Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements, such as GDP, GMP, and warehousing standards.
    • Experience in managing warehouse operations, inventory management software, and logistics coordination.
    • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical supply chain and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in inventory management software, ERP systems, and MS Office.
    • Analytical skills for troubleshooting logistical challenges and optimizing operations.
    • Attention to detail and a strong focus on compliance and quality assurance.

CTC:

  • 7-8 Lacs per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
