Key skills for the job
Primary Responsibility:
- Credit analysis of financial instruments in the BFSI sector for Securitized Transactions
- Financial analysis and ability to make financial projections, of the financial instruments
- Analytical rigor in the presentations to the rating committees
- Maintain excellent quality in the analysis and to be up-to-date on the market/industry information and suitable and need-based rating actions
- Interact with company management, auditors, bankers, and other lenders and visit companies and factories as part of regular monitoring and data gathering.
- To take ownership of the folio by carrying out regular surveillance, monitoring, and reviews every quarter/ material event basis, tracking the performance of the companies concerning macroeconomic changes, and handling internal and external audit queries.
- Strictly adhere to standard operating procedures, regulations and policies.
- Adept in meeting tight deadlines with no compromise on analytical quality
- Client interaction and managing good relations
Competency / Skills:
- Analytical expertise in the Securitized Transactions segment including financial modeling, ratio analysis, and industry knowledge.
- Updated with the latest regulatory guidelines and circulars, especially in Structured Finance Products.
- Excellent verbal / written communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency:
- Strong domain knowledge in credit assessment in the BFSI sector - Securitization
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and presentation skills to present the facts along with rating recommendations to the rating committees.
Experience:
- 5 to 8 years of work experience in credit rating of corporates
