MIS Programmer - Python/SQL (5-7 yrs)

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

A Master's degree in a similar field will be given preference.

Experience: 5 to 7 years of prior experience in a similar role is preferred.

Familiarity with data visualization best practices and experience in a business intelligence setting is a plus.

Preference will be given to Immediate / Early Joiners

Role Summary :

MIS Programmer must be proficient in Python, SQL, Power BI, and Google Dashboards.

The ideal candidate will possess an analytical mindset and be adept at data cleaning, and data presentation, providing initial insights from data analysis.

Primary Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python and SQL to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

- Perform data cleaning and wrangling to prepare datasets for analysis, ensuring data is in a usable format.

- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI and Google Dashboards to effectively present findings and insights.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights based on analyses.

- Identify patterns and trends in data, translating them into meaningful insights for stakeholders.

- Assist in documenting processes and methodologies to improve data handling and reporting practices.

Competency / Skills :

- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL; proficiency in Power BI and experience with Google Dashboards.

- Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets, identifying trends and patterns.

- Expertise in creating visualizations that effectively communicate complex data.

- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
