The Systems Engineer, Sr. is responsible for the planning, designing, acquisition, maintenance, and implementation of applications, infrastructure, system integration, and solutions utilizing vendor relationships and internal IT and business partners with guidance and direction only on the most complex situations. This position is recognized as an expert within the organization and is responsible for solving complex problems within the area(s) they work and support. This position assists the research, design, validation, and implementation of systems, components, and technologies and provides recommendations for strategies, roadmaps and solutions. This person ensures the solutions employed across the organization support the needs of evolving business by effectively understanding the changing technology. This individual also provides oversight and assistance across project design and delivery, ongoing administration including monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring availability and reliability across multiple providers and services.
