Job Summary

The Infrastructure team provides engineering, design, support, and implementation to on-premise and cloud infrastructure supporting our business applications and capabilities. The primary objective for this role is to manage and provide direction for infrastructure services. This leader exemplifies exceptional professionalism, maintains a composed demeanor, and demonstrates excellent people management skills. Additionally, this leader enhances datacenter operations, has a strong grasp of capacity planning, cost-saving strategies, budget forecast and tracking, and prioritizing tasks.

Essential Job Functions

• Demonstrate understanding of specific data center services management of on-premise and cloud-based technology, including storage, virtualization, operating systems, network, telecom, DevOps CI/CD and related management tools. Ensure infrastructure implementations adhere to architecture standards, policies and SLAs.
• Manage infrastructure capacity and determine planning and implementation needs. Ensure the upkeep and relevance of infrastructure documentation for operational procedures, business continuity and disaster recovery, while identifying redundancy requirements. Oversee resolution of audit exams and requests as necessary.
• Exhibit strong ethical standards, leadership abilities, and personnel management skills, with proven experience in performance appraisals and individual development plans. Lead by example and mentor associates in their professional development. Demonstrate understanding of regulatory requirements in the US financial sector, such as PCI DSS and FDIC.
• Oversee all solutions management within operational budget, working within compressed timelines with allocated resources. Drive the maintenance and improvement of monitoring, automation services, and licensing tracking. Practice technical thought leadership and comprehend the consequences of decisions.
• Drive resolution of escalated technological server issues. Partner with Enterprise Architecture in strategic planning of solutions to support business needs. Demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills when working with internal and external partners. Negotiate and present information in an articulate, professional, and digestible manner.
• Drive relationship management with application owners, business stakeholders across the organization, InfoSec, and EPMO. Identify and implement emerging technology in systems management in collaboration with other infrastructure teams. Oversee activities from Managed Service Provider and vendors.
• Monitor and report on infrastructure components, project updates and statuses through key metrics.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor s Degree Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• 7+ years experience on storage and backup teams.
• 3+ years of leading projects, mentoring, SME OR direct leadership experience.
