BLive - Technology Lead - Java/Python (4-8 yrs)

Role : Technology Lead - Enterprise Mobility Solutions.

Role Overview :

As the Technology Lead, you will oversee the technical design, architecture, and implementation of our platform.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll manage a team of engineers, define the technology stack, and ensure smooth integrations with third-party services, all while building for scalability, reliability, and high performance.

Additionally, you'll drive AI/ML algorithm implementation for fleet and energy optimization and predictive analytics.

Key Responsibilities:.

Architecture & System Design :

- Architect a scalable, microservices-based PaaS platform on industry-standard cloud infrastructure preferably AWS with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Design distributed systems to support large-scale EV fleet operations, integrating with IoT devices, telematics, and charging stations.

- Develop AI-driven algorithms for predictive fleet optimization, route planning, and charging management.

Backend Development :

- Lead backend development using Java, Python, Node.js, focusing on performance and scalability.

- Implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs for integration with service providers, fleet operators, and carbon tracking platforms.

- Utilize event-driven architecture with message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ for real-time data flow.

Database Knowledge and Management :

Proficiency in DBMS :

- Strong expertise with MongoDB for managing large-scale, semi-structured data, along with familiarity in SQL-based databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL.

Data Modeling and Schema Design :

- Skilled in designing optimized data models and schema structures in MongoDB for efficient querying, indexing, and storage.

Performance Optimization :

- Expertise in MongoDB indexing, sharding, and query optimization techniques to support high data volumes and real-time processing.

Backup, Replication, and High Availability :

- Experienced in implementing backup solutions, replication, and ensuring high availability in MongoDB for data integrity and resilience.

Data & AI Integration :

- Set up data pipelines to handle large-scale, real-time data from EV sensors and telematics systems.

- Integrate AI/ML models for predictive maintenance, energy optimization, and carbon footprint calculations using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch.

- Collaborate with data science teams to deploy models and provide advanced analytics insights.

Mobile Application Development :

- Oversee mobile app development using Flutter for both iOS and Android.

- Collaborate with design and product teams to create user-centric applications for fleet and charging management.

Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps :

- Set up CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.

- Design and secure cloud infrastructure for high availability using AWS Lambda, ECS, or Kubernetes clusters.

- Implement identity management, encryption, and conduct regular security audits.

Key Requirements :

- 4+ years in software development and architecture, ideally in the EV or mobility domain.

- Expertise in backend development (Java, Python, Node.js) and microservices architecture.

- Strong skills in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

- Hands-on experience with Flutter and MongoDB.

- Knowledge of AI/ML algorithms and their application in fleet and energy management.

- Experience in building or scaling digital marketplaces.

- Familiarity with carbon credit systems and sustainability-focused solutions.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with EV telematics, charging infrastructure, or MaaS platforms.

- Familiarity with carbon accounting standards and emissions tracking.

- Knowledge of serverless architectures and model deployment.
