Job Description
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Python for Web App Based Automation.
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks to support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams to understand product requirements and create effective test strategies.
- Conduct thorough testing of web applications, APIs, and other software components.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and issues.
- Perform regression testing and ensure the stability of software releases.
- Utilize Cloud based services to set up and manage test environments and infrastructure.
- Analyze test results, provide detailed reports, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
- Continuously improve test processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in automation testing and AWS.
About you
The ideal candidate will have a track-record in delivering results in a fast-moving business and hence be comfortable with change and uncertainty.
Required
- Strong proficiency in Python for test automation for Web App based Automation.
- Hands-on experience with any Cloud based service.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices (eg, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Experience with testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, PyTest, JUnit, etc
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Experience with performance and load testing tools.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (eg, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.
- Understanding of security testing principles.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
