We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to own and grow key relationships with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions that have implemented our lending SaaS platform.
This role requires strong client management, technical understanding of digital lending workflows, and a consultative approach to drive product adoption, retention, and revenue expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship & Account Growth:
- Act as the primary point of contact for key banking and NBFC clients using our lending SaaS solutions.
- Develop a deep understanding of client needs, lending workflows, and pain points to provide strategic product recommendations.
- Drive renewals, upselling, and cross-selling of additional features, modules, and integrations.
- Build strong C-level and stakeholder relationships to ensure long-term engagement.
Product Adoption & Solutioning:
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure seamless implementation and adoption.
- Guide clients in optimizing the loan origination system (LOS), underwriting models, collections automation, and regulatory compliance.
- Leverage insights from AI-driven risk models and alternative credit scoring to enhance client lending strategies.
- Address client concerns on API integrations, security, and performance while working with tech teams.
Performance Monitoring & Support:
- Track key SaaS adoption metrics, loan processing efficiency, and portfolio performance for clients.
- Identify churn risks early and proactively address concerns to improve retention.
- Ensure SLAs, compliance, and system uptime are met in collaboration with operations teams.
- Work closely with clients to analyze lending KPIs, credit risk trends, and AI-powered decisioning outcomes.
Strategic Consulting & Thought Leadership:
- Advise banks and NBFCs on digital lending best practices, RBI regulations, and emerging fintech trends.
- Conduct training sessions, product demos, and workshops to drive deeper engagement.
- Gather market intelligence and provide feedback to product teams for innovation and feature enhancements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 7-10+ years of experience in account management, customer success, or business development in fintech, SaaS, or banking.
- Strong knowledge of loan origination, underwriting, collections, and credit risk management.
- Prior experience handling enterprise accounts in banks, NBFCs, or financial institutions.
- Understanding of API-driven SaaS platforms, AI-based credit models, and open banking integrations.
- Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, risk, and sales teams.
- MBA/PGDM or equivalent in Business, Finance, or related fields preferred.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in digital lending, BNPL, or embedded finance.
- Familiarity with RBI lending guidelines, KYC/AML compliance, and risk analytics.
- Prior exposure to AI-driven credit decisioning and automation tools.
- Willingness and ability to travel in India & Middle East.
