Production Manager - Chhatral

Designation: Manager Production

Roles & Responsibilities:

Planning & Strategizing

• Co-coordinating with owned plant production in-charge and facilitating the teams to achieve excellence through TPM, 5S & Visualization etc.
• Contribute towards implementation of the overall manufacturing strategy of plants.
• Expand current capacities to meet future demands.
• Identify and execute Productivity improvement projects
• Ensure Daily Production Planning as per schedule
• Drive implementation and compliance with product quality and SOPs.
• Manage capacity and ensure operational, social and environmental risk mitigation measures are in place.

Operations

• Plan, lead, organize and control activities associated with volumes, costs, efficiency parameters, overheads and profits, related to Kamshet Plant
• Liaison with respective functions in Kamshet to ensure smooth functioning.
• Ensure that the KPIs are achieved.

Food Safety, Hygiene and Sustainability

• Focus on standards of Food safety, hygiene with respect to Set standards and local requirements
• Focus on long-term sustainability initiatives ensuring business viability in the long run (e.g. Reduce water consumption, Reduce Wastage etc.).
• Ensuring no Product recall due to non-compliance
• Timely closure of complaints as per defined TAT
• Ensuring Statutory & Regulatory Compliance

Innovation, Learning and Growth

• Drive initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Ensure best practices replication across Kamshet plants.
• People responsibilities around ensuring on-time trainings, performance appraisals, goals setting, etc.

People Development

• Effectively manage the headcounts
• Developing skills of operators, Supervisors and Executives.
• Carry out schedule training programs to improve skill levels of the employees.
• Ensuring on-time trainings, performance appraisals, goals setting, etc.
