New Business Development

Key purpose of the role:

Identify new customers in line with the stated sales strategy of the company, develop a list of prospects, sales and funnel management, establish long term relationships with customers, expand customer base and drive revenue.

Key responsibilities involved:

1. New Sales Management

• Develop effective sales strategies
• Develop funnel of propsects
• Ability to forecast sales
• Create long term relationships with prospects
• Effective use of CRM

2. Sales Presentations

• Understand customer needs and develop and effective sales presentation
• Ability to showcase the strength of the company and pitch the right long term value
• Represent the company at various forums

3. Proposal Development & Contract Negotiations

• Understand customer needs and translate the same in proposals
• Ability to negotiate commercials and translate the same in effective proposal

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Strong understanding of local business practices
• Ability to conceptualise, plan, execute and ability to take and give feedback, make changes based on the same
• Strong ability to be data driven and make necessary decisions based on the same
• Ability to deal with large customers, and understand the business practices
• Good Understanding of the market, and ability to connect with stakeholders
• Comfortable and proficient with using technology and digital solutions
• Proven ability of relationship and trust building with business partners
• Must be a Team player with ability to Work closely/in coordination with other stake holders
• Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Should possess Strong Analytical and Decision-making skills
• Professional and ethical behavior, compassionate and target driven
• Excellent communication, proficient computer skills, Knowledge of local language is a must
