Head of Operations

Key purpose of the role:

Ensure the smooth and seamless functioning of the operations unit of the company. This will include overseeing daily tasks, deliveries to the customers, ensuring operational efficiency, managing service quality, optimizing resource allocation, implementing process improvements, and strategically planning to meet customer needs

Key responsibilities involved:

1. Planning and Monitoring Daily Tasks in advance

• Forecast and plan capacities
• Manage Delivery schedules
• Organising efficient transport & other support activities
• Monitor plan v/s achievement and take corrective actions on deviations

2. Control Functions

• Logistics planning and monitoring
• Warehousing SOPs and deviations
• Platform operations

3. Commercial Operations

• Billings, Payments, Collections
• AR/AP Tracking
• Financial Reports/Revenue Tracking

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Strong understanding of local business practices
• Ability to conceptualise, plan, execute and ability to take and give feedback, make changes based on the same
• Strong ability to be data driven and make necessary decisions based on the same
• Ability to deal with large customers, and understand the business practices
• Good Understanding of the market, and ability to connect with stakeholders
• Comfortable and proficient with using technology and digital solutions
• Proven ability of relationship and trust building with business partners
• Must be a Team player with ability to Work closely/in coordination with other stake holders
• Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Should possess Strong Analytical and Decision-making skills
• Professional and ethical behavior, compassionate and target driven
• Excellent communication, proficient computer skills, Knowledge of local language is a must
