Quality Assurance

Key Purpose of the Role :

Quality Assurance Testing with a functional business perspective, taking pride in delivering the platform with outstanding quality

Roles & Responsibility:

• Partner with Development leads, Architects, Delivery & Support teams to ensure that platform software is tested & delivered to the highest quality.
• Bring business context to the QA testing of Platform.
• Create Test Plans and Scenarios for rapidly evolving platform features.
• Be embedded in the entire product development lifecycle, from design, documentation to roll-out, to ensure that new enhancements provide the require functionality without impacting current features.
• Create test automation and leverage modern technologies to speed up quality assessment.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Prior work experience in Functional QA roles  
• Having worked in a start-up environment or small to mid-sized companies is desirable but not mandatory
• Knowledge on Industry standard Testing Processes & Methodologies
• Quick learner, who can work under pressure of tight deadlines, who thinks defect prevention over defect identification
• Qualification: Graduate / Engineering degree in Computer Sciences/ Computer Applications
• Strong verbal & written communication
• Ability to work across cross-functional & remote teams  
• Ability to handle difference of opinion
• Self-motivated, creative thinker who takes ownership & accountability
