Solution Architect

Requirements:

1. 2-3 years of development experience with strong knowledge of Visual Basic and VBA.

2. Strong knowledge and background in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

3. Proven experience in Microsoft Visual Studio and/or .NET Framework to automate day-to-day document processing tasks that streamline repetitive tasks and enhance operational efficiency across departments.

4. Proficiency in Strong Object-Oriented analysis design, Component Object Model and scripting fundamentals, or ability to learn new scripting language on the fly as required for the project.

5. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other stakeholders to determine their workflows and identify areas for improvement through automation; creates a Software Requirements Specification (SRS) and develop automation tools to meet the requirements.

6. Ability to code from requirement, functional, and/or design documents, translating SRS into executable, functional codes.

7. Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools and approaches.

8. Demonstrated proficiency in technical reading, writing and documenting processes.

9. Demonstrated the ability to collaborate with other team members on projects which requires the ability to read and revise codes written by other team members, if necessary.

10. Demonstrated ability to perform technical research, to learn, understand and propose new solutions using new methodologies and concepts learned on the job.

11. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with interdisciplinary teams, provide clear instructions and hand off training to end-users, and if necessary, assist in troubleshooting when a defect is reported.

12. Proven ability to assess and identify any potential operational/automation risks during scoping or development phase of the project lifecycle.

13. Demonstrated ability to investigate problem areas with limited information reported by the end-user, perform quick patches and/or long-term fixes.

14. Experience in document processing automation is preferred (such as Word files and/or PDFs) for OCR, DTP and file recreation.
