Job Description:

Medline is continuing to expand our operations in Pune and is looking for a Business Analyst who is capable of performing data analysis and database, reports and tools development.

Some of the roles and responsibilities

• Identify data and create a report, tools etc. necessary to perform business
• Automate existing manual reporting, processes using Excel VBA, MS Access per business need
• Create reports for all facets of the Namic division. Communicate the results of the data analysis to all the stakeholders in a meaningful manner
• Work directly with internal teams (such as Reorder Buying, Production, Inventory Management, Marketing) to provide intermediate level analysis and reporting as necessary
• Perform analysis and generate reports consistent with continuous improvement of processes and procedures
• Monitor for data accuracy, timeliness and integrity in data used in analysis and reporting. Communicate to appropriate personnel if data inaccuracies exist
• Provide smooth process flow when implementing new reports in a timely manner.
• Must manipulate large amounts of data in Excel/Access efficiently and accurately
• Develop/Update/Maintain dashboards/reports using Tableau
• Perform routine maintenance on existing reports, which includes updating tables regularly.

Required Skills:

• Analytical Mindset
• Intermediate skills in MS -Excel, MS-Access.
• Ability to use/debug SQL and VBA in Excel/Access.
• Experience working with any BI Tool like Tableau/PowerBI will be advantage
• Understanding of basic BI concepts
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Responsive and attentive to the questions/queries raised by stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Deadline and detail orientated individual
• Ability to provide innovative solutions to the business problems

Educational Qualification:

Any Graduate / Post Graduate degree

Work Experience:

2-6 years of relevant experience including practical experience using VBA, SQL & MS Access to create business solutions/reports or tools.
