The Senior Manager - Accounts is responsible for overseeing the financial reporting, accounting operations, compliance, and internal controls of the organisation. This role requires expertise in financial management, budgeting, taxation, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will lead a team and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting:
Supervise and oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures as per IFRS/GAAP standards.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
Ensure timely processing of invoices and payments to vendors.
Oversee credit control and collections processes.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Lead the annual budgeting process in coordination with different departments.
Prepare financial forecasts and variance analysis reports.
Provide financial insights to support business decisions.Taxation & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including GST, TDS, corporate tax, and other statutory requirements.
Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns.
Internal Controls & Audits:
Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Ensure compliance with audit requirements and assist in both internal and external audits.
Identify and mitigate financial risks.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Collaborate with senior management, department heads, and external stakeholders.
Provide financial guidance to the leadership team for strategic decision-making.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Education: CA/CPA/CMA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
Experience: 7-10 years of experience in accounting and financial management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.

Technical Skills:
o Expertise in financial reporting, taxation, and compliance.
o Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.) and MS Excel.
o Strong understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and local tax laws.
