Senior Accounts Manager

Toonz Media Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounts Manager to oversee and manage the company s financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in accounting and finance, along with strong leadership and analytical skills to manage a dynamic finance team. This role will involve overseeing financial reporting, compliance with accounting principles, and supporting decision-making by providing accurate and timely financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare, review, and analyse financial statements, reports, and forecasts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Prepare/ assist in the preparation of cross-border consolidated financial statements.
• Oversee the preparation of tax returns, VAT filings, and other statutory obligations in line with the current tax laws and regulations.
• Monitor cash flow, financial trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assist in strategic decision-making.
• Supervise and ensure the implementation of internal controls to safeguard the company s financial assets.
• Review and improve accounting procedures and systems for efficiency and compliance.
• Manage audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure the timely completion of audits.
• Provide support in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Handle complex accounting queries and provide financial insights to senior management.
• Ensure the timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closings.
• Build strong relationships with vendors, bankers and other stake holders.
• Mentor and develop junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
