Role & responsibilities

1. Accounting & Ind AS Compliance

• Ensure adherence to Ind AS, IFRS, and Companies Act in financial reporting.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on revenue recognition, lease accounting and ppe accounting.
• Assess the financial impact of business transactions.
• Support statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance reviews.

2. Business Partnering & Strategic Advisory

• Collaborate with business teams, finance leaders, and auditors to align accounting treatments with business objectives.
• Evaluate financial implications of commercial contracts, pricing models, and capital investments.
• Provide insights on cross-charging, digital assets, and common control transactions.
• Support business in financial decision-making, risk assessment, and policy interpretation.

3. Financial Analysis & Reporting

• Ensure accurate and timely financial closing, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Analyze P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements to drive financial efficiency.
• Identify financial risks, gaps, and policy implications, proposing mitigation strategies.

4. Policy & Process Standardization

• Implement and standardize finance policies, internal controls, and SOPs.
• Drive automation in financial reporting using Oracle ERP and other digital tools.
• Lead governance and compliance initiatives, ensuring robust financial oversight.

5. Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with cross-functional teams (FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Business Finance, Legal, and Operations).
• Serve as an SME in audits, regulatory discussions, and investor reporting.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3+ years of experience in Finance & Reporting.
• Strong expertise in Ind AS, IFRS, and Companies Act compliance.
• Deep understanding of business models, financial planning, and corporate finance policies.
• Experience in handling complex financial transactions, audits, and risk assessments.
• Proficiency in Oracle ERP and financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving and solution-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
