Assistant Manager - Indirect Tax (Bangalore)

Candidates from Big4/Consulting/ CA firms preferred.

Core Indirect Tax Role & responsibilities:

• Independently manage a wide range of GST related assignments including retainership, compliances, tax reviews, GST audit, departmental audits and scrutiny, etc.
• Well versed with other Indirect Taxes Laws viz. Service Tax & VAT Laws and having good practical exposure in handling compliances and litigations
• Preparation of submissions/ replies to various tax notices, show cause notices, drafting appeals, etc.
• Representation before revenue authorities such as before Commissioner/ Commissioner (Appeal) concerning EA 2000 audit, CERA audit and DGCEI Investigations, Scrutiny, Assessment, Refund etc.
• Foster client engagement by promptly responding to inquiries, resolving issues within agreed timelines, and working closely with our support team to ensure that client needs are met.
• Ensure the timely execution of deliverables, both technical and non-technical.
• Helping junior team member to develop through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring.
• Offer guidance and consultation on GST matters to clients, including providing insights on tax implications related to new business deals and other relevant scenarios.
