Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation:
- Develop comprehensive content strategies aligned with organisational goals and target audience preferences.
- Generate high-quality, original content that resonates with the target audience across various formats, including articles, blogs, videos, infographics, and podcasts.
- Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitor activities, and audience demographics to aid content development.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and external partners to gather insights and ensure content accuracy and relevance.
2. Strategic Communication Management:
- Craft clear and impactful messaging for internal and external communications, including press releases, executive communications, and company announcements.
- Develop crisis communication plans and protocols to effectively manage and mitigate reputational risks.
- Maintain brand voice and tone guidelines per existing brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all communication channels.
- Monitor and analyse communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of messaging strategies and make data-driven adjustments as necessary.
3. Social Media Engagement and Campaigning:
- Adept with social media platforms for understanding trends and ideating on new social media campaigns, to enhance engagement.
- Drive social media engagement and community growth through compelling content, interactive campaigns, and strategic audience targeting.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, conversations, and opportunities to participate in relevant discussions and amplify brand messaging.
4. Content Architecture Design:
- Define and implement content architecture frameworks for websites, mobile apps, and other digital platforms to enhance user experience and navigation.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers and developers to integrate content structures seamlessly into digital products and platforms.
- Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iteratively improve content architecture and information hierarchy.
5. Campaign Conceptualisation and Coordination:
- Lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including branding initiatives, product launches, etc.
- Monitor campaign performance metrics, such as reach, engagement, and conversion rates, and optimise strategies for maximum impact and ROI.
6. Content Editing and Enhancement:
- Conduct comprehensive content audits to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for optimisation.
- Edit and proofread content for grammar, style, clarity, and accuracy, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and editorial standards.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to content creators to elevate the quality and effectiveness of their work.
- Implement SEO best practices to optimise content for search visibility and organic traffic growth.
7. Adaptability in High-Pressure Environments:
- Thrive in dynamic and fast-paced environments, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines.
- Remain agile and flexible in responding to evolving business priorities, industry trends, and customer feedback.
- Demonstrate resilience and composure under pressure, problem-solving effectively and maintaining a positive attitude in challenging situations.
8. Utilisation of AI Tools for Content Optimisation:
- Leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms to analyse content performance, predict audience preferences, and personalise recommendations.
- Explore and experiment with emerging AI technologies, such as natural language generation (NLG) and content generation algorithms, to streamline content production processes and enhance creativity.
