About the Role:

As an Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer with 3 - 8 years of experience, you will collaborate closely with Team Leads and Project Managers to design, develop, and optimize electro-mechanical systems and components. This role demands expertise in both electrical and mechanical engineering, with a strong emphasis on quality, innovation, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop low voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) switchgear/switchboards including LV: Destruction panel, M-T-M, and ATS. MV: Meta clads, metal enclosed, metering unit, reclosure panels, etc.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of UL, IEEE, IEC, and ANSI standards.
• Interpret and understand electrical single-line diagrams (SLD) and three-line diagrams.
• Ensure strong technical knowledge of protection devices and controlling equipment.
• Translate internal team and external customer requirements into effective design solutions.
• Coordinate major project tasks, ensuring objectives, completion timelines, and technical specifications are met.
• Lead and participate in the design and development of complex electro-mechanical systems and components, including ACB, MCB, MCCB, switches, and contactors.
• Conduct design and heat dissipation calculations, structural and thermal analysis.
• Create detailed design drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Develop technical documentation, including design reports, test plans, and user manuals.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• B.E. / B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with 3 - 8 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong experience in SolidWorks or Inventor (Mandatory).
• Hands-on experience in 3D modeling from preliminary concept sketches.
• Experience in designing hybrid generators, transformers, mobile substation skids, solar power distribution panels.
• Knowledge of enclosure design, busbars, insulating supports, and sheet metal fabrication (shop floor experience is an added advantage).
