About the role:

The Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer with 1 - 8 years of Experience, you will collaborate closely with Team Leads or Project Managers to Design, Develop and Optimize Electro-Mechanical Systems and Components. This role demands significant experience in both electrical and mechanical engineering, with a strong emphasis on quality, innovation, and efficiency. The candidate should demonstrate a strong working knowledge of Electro-Mechanical Product Development like LV/MV Switchgears & have hands-on experience of 3D modelling from the preliminary concept sketch using Solidworks or Inventor and building.

You are expected to:

• Strong experience in designing low voltage switchgear /switchboard (Destruction panel, M-T-M and ATS etc.)
• Strong experience in designing medium voltage switchgear (Meta clad and metal Enclosed, metering unit, Reclosure panels etc.)
• Have strong knowledge on standard like UL, IEEE, IEC and ANSI
• Understanding the electrical SLD ad Three-line diagrams
• Good knowledge on Protection Devices and Controlling Equipments
• Listen, understand, translate internal team and external customers requirements
• Coordinates the work of major projects with responsibility for project objectives, completion dates, and technical specifications.

You will be a great fit if you have:

• B.E. / B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with 1 - 8 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in creating detailed design drawings, schematics and specifications.
• Experience in Designing Hybrid Generators, Transformers, Mobile Substation Skids, Solar Power Distribution Panels.
• Experience in designing enclosures, busbars, insulating supports etc.
• Well versed in Design & Heat Dissipation calculations, Structural and Thermal Analysis.
• Shop floor experience preferably with Sheetmetal fabrication units will be an added advantage.
• Lead and participate in the design and development of complex Electro - Mechanical Systems and Components like ACB, MCB, MCCB, Switches and contractors.
• Prepared comprehensive Technical Documentation including design reports, test plans and user manuals.
• Experience in SolidWorks or Inventor (Any one is Mandatory).
