Job Description
- Design Development: Create innovative and efficient mechanical design of Product, Jigs and Fixtures that meet project specifications and requirements. This includes conceptualizing, sketching, and creating 3D models using CAD software.

- Design Optimization: Identify opportunities for design optimization to enhance performance, reduce costs, or improve manufacturing processes. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure designs can be produced efficiently and meet quality standards.
- Prototyping and Testing: Aid to d evelop prototypes of mechanical designs and work closely with testing to validate their functionality, performance, and safety.

- Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA): Mechanical E ngineer should be adept at designing products or components that are optimized for efficient manufacturing and assembly processes.

- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, drawings, bills of materials, etc . Communicate design intent and requirements effectively to stakeholders, suppliers, and manufacturing teams.

- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers , electronics , and industrial designers, to integrate mechanical designs for electronic devices into overall product development. Clearly communicate design concepts, ideas, and requirements to ensure smooth project execution.

- Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical engineering, materials, and manufacturing processes. Identify and apply new technologies and techniques to improve product designs and engineering practices.

- Compliance and Standards: Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.

- Continuous Improvement: Seek opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of design standards, best practices, and workflows.
Requirements- Min 6 -8 years of experience in Electro- Mechanical Design, Product development and Manufacturing .
- Experience in 3D Modeling and Detailing with Materials and Manufacturing process knowledge (Plastics, Machining, Casting, Fabrication and Sheet metal) .
- Hands on Experience with CA D Tools \u2013UG NX , SolidWorks, PTC Creo .
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
