Senior Executive - Internal communication

Internal Communications is a vital part of BIALs company policies. Its purpose is to communicate with and keep employees engaged so that they develop a sense of belongingness to the company and perform better contributing to the growth of the organization. Internal Communications so far has been handled by one person in the Marketing team. However, the increased volume of work requires a dedicated resource to be hired.

Role & responsibilities

Managing internal communication from various departments-

• Work on all internal emailers, announcements, newsletter and other communication requirements

Ideate and execute communication through interesting concepts while working closely with the in-house designer and agencies.

• Should have a design sense and excellent written skills to work on creatives for both internal and external communication related to employees. These creatives can range from emailers, announcements, social media posts, Viva Engage posts and WhatsApp messages. Knowledge of using design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Canva, and any video editing software like VN Video Editor or In Shot will be an added advantage.

Multi-stakeholder management and support-

• Must be comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and departments. Must be a peoples person and should support various teams with communication material for all kinds of events, department-wise campaigns and seasonal campaigns. Should be comfortable working with agencies, briefing them, and ensuring the output is in line with the brand tonality and guidelines

DIMENSIONS

Financial (Ex: Budgets, project costs, capex etc.,)

• Budget allocation for projects undertaken by agencies
• Budget allocation for photography and filmmaking

Non-Financial (Ex: No. of direct/ indirect reports, headcount in projects, no. of clients handled etc.,)

Preferred candidate profile

• Creative thinker with a passion for ideas and a deep understanding .
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator ,Canva ,video editor software.
• Work on all internal emailers, announcements, newsletter and other communication requirements
• Must be a peoples person and should support various teams with communication material for all kinds of events, department-wise campaigns and seasonal campaigns
• Should be comfortable working with agencies, briefing them, and ensuring the output is in line with the brand tonality and guidelines
• Proven track record in managing end-to-end projects like Cultural, sports events etc
• Proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of Hindi and Kannada is optional.
