Kaizen Officer

Role & responsibilities

• This position is responsible to focus on promoting the Kaizen philosophy and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across functions, enhancing productivity, reducing waste, and improving the overall performance of the organization .
• Conduct Kaizen events (workshops or improvement cycles) to address specific issues or optimize processes.
• Continuously monitor the results of Kaizen initiatives to ensure that the desired outcomes are being achieved
• Collaborate with various departments such as shop floor employees, office workers, engineers, and leaders to drive improvements in daily operations
• Promote a culture of participation where employees at all levels are encouraged to suggest improvements.
• Provide training to employees on Kaizen tools and methodologies, such as root cause analysis, 5S, and value stream mapping.
• Support the creation of a Kaizen mindset in employees by emphasizing continuous learning and iterative improvements.
• Regularly report progress to senior management, highlighting successes and areas that may need further attention.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or related process improvement methodologies is preferred.
• 2 3 years strong knowledge of Kaizen tools and methodologies, preferably in manufacturing, operations, or process improvement. Hands-on experience in facilitating Kaizen events and implementing continuous improvement programs
