Environment Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Obtaining statutory permits and consents like Consent to Establish (CTE / NOC), Consent to Operate (CTO / CCA) and Registration for Recycling / Reprocess of Hazardous Waste from State Pollution Control Board.
• Carrying out Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Study and Obtaining Environmental clearance (EC) from MoEF/SEIAA.
• Collection, compilation and collation of Baseline data for EIA Studies.
• Development of Environmental Management Plan.
• Environmental Audit as per the directives and guidelines of Honorable High Court of Maharashtra and Maharashtra Pollution Control Board.
• Selection and Finalization of Effluent Treatment Scheme and Air Pollution Control Equipment. Management of various industrial Hazardous and Solid Waste.
• Preparation & submission of BRSR Report (Business Responsibility & Sustainability Report) w.r.t. BAL Group.

Preferred candidate profile

Masters in Environmental Science with minimum 5 to 10 yrs of RELEVANT experience in Chemicals industry;

Experience in Environmental and social impact assessment for Chemicals projects, Compliance management, environmental monitoring

Well versed with requirements of environmental and social safeguard policies.

Fluent in English language(Writing & Speaking).

Should be able to make decisions and coordinate with seniors
