Head - Safety (Chemicals Background is MUST)

Role & responsibilities

• Minimum 15-18 years of progressive experience as a safety leader in the chemical, pharmaceuticals, petrochemical, or fertilizers industries.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing safety operations and implementing safety systems in a high-risk chemicals environment.
• In-depth knowledge of safety practices in the chemical sector, particularly in managing hazardous materials and unsafe practices.
• Certifications:
• NEBOSH, OSHA certifications.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001, IMS, and other international safety standards.
• Skills & Competencies:
• Proven expertise in risk assessment, incident management, and emergency response protocols.
• In-depth understanding of federal safety legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments and make decisions to protect workers health and safety.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
