Job Description

As a Cloud Presales Solution Architect, you will beresponsible for providing technical expertise and support throughout the salescycle for cloud-based solutions. You will collaborate closely with the salesteam to understand customer requirements, design appropriate cloud solutions,and deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations. Your rolewill be crucial in influencing the customers decision-making process andensuring that our cloud offerings meet their needs. You would also be responsiblefor building capabilities in cloud domain.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Sales Support:

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact during the presales phase.
  • Work with the sales team to understand client needs, business challenges, and technical requirements.
  • Develop and present customized cloud solutions and proposals that addresses client requirements and align with their business objectives.

Solution Design & Architecture:

  • Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Provide guidance on cloud migration strategies, integration, and best practices.
  • Create demo-able assets and POCs to demonstrate expertise.

Customer Engagement:

  • Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and workshops to showcase cloud solutions and capabilities.
  • Address technical questions and concerns raised by clients, providing clear and concise explanations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders.

Collaboration & Coordination:

  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and support teams to ensure alignment between customer requirements and product capabilities.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to develop and refine sales strategies and approaches.
  • Assist in drafting technical sections of proposals, RFPs, and RFIs.

Market & Product Knowledge:

  • Stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Share insights and feedback from customer interactions with internal teams to help improve product offerings and sales strategies.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Prepare detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, solution outlines, and implementation plans.
  • Provide regular reports on presales activities, customer feedback, and sales pipeline status.

Certifications:

  • Relevant cloud certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect/ AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are preferred.
Preferred Attributes
  • Experience with cloud migration and modernization projects.
  • Background in working with diverse industries and understanding their specific cloud needs.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies and techniques.

As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will be responsiblefor leading the cloud strategy, design, and implementation across ourorganization. You will work closely with stakeholders, engineering teams, andarchitects to deliver scalable and secure cloud solutions for our end customer.You will also help in creating the GTM with the help of commercial team withthe hyper scalers and help in building the competency further. Your role willalso include mentoring and guiding cloud engineers, managing cloud-relatedprojects, and ensuring best practices in cloud architecture and operations.


Responsibilities

Create solutions, managing multi-cloud projects thatare scalable, secure, reliable and cost effective.

- solutioning

Implement migration projects (OnPrem to Cloud,One Cloud to other Cloud) with latest tool stack and industry best practices.

Development background with thorough architectureunderstanding is preferred.

Proven expertise in solutioning, implementingmulti-cloud modernizations.

Leverage best practices to implement automations andopen-source tools.

Proven expertise in various cloud technologies

Coordinate with various teams to resolve issues,finalize cross functional requirements.

Proven experience technology pre-sales.

Proven expertise in stakeholder management.

Cost Optimization strategies

Good understanding of Disaster recovery and redundancy

Qualification

Computer Science Graduate, information systems orcomparable field.

Work experience in managing multi-cloud solutioningprojects, migration projects, modernization projects.

A person who would give End-to- End Cloud solution

Azure Certification(s) is a must.

Any certification in Architecture is a must.

Certifications or trainings in DevSecOps tools.

Demonstrated thought leadership via blogs, whitepapers etc.

Technical Skills

Architecting, building, and maintainingcost-efficient, scalable cloud environments for the Organization using Azurecloud services. AWS expertise is nice to have.
