SRE Professional

Assess current processes and propose/deploy customized automation solutions for continuous integration and deployment of application on public cloud (PaaS and IaaS).

Work closely with various stakeholders & partners at various levels to analyze and develop compelling business case around automation.

This position will be an individual contributor role working with other technologists specializing in application architecture.

Leverages his / her strong understanding and experience in DevOps tools usage in automating the application lifecycle.

Work with multiple teams (Technology, Data Science and operations) to ensure the application delivery is on time.

Improving stability and streamlining of application deployment processes by designing automation solutions and tools for deployment on to cloud infrastructure.

Drive technology partnerships, working closely with strategic partners in the design and development of DevOps tools.

Experience and competencies

Qualification

Computer Science Graduate, information systems or comparable field.

Has a good understanding of the lifecycle & activities involved in end-to-end delivery of Application development & maintenance.

Work experience on large scale Data centers & Cloud deployments (preferably AWS)

AWS DevOps Certification would be added advantage.

Technical Skills

Strong experience on various DevOps tools for process automation.

Working experience on AWS/Azure PaaS offerings.

Knowledge of IaC using Terraform/Cloud formation Template.

Good implementation skill of DevOps tools like Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Docker, SonarQube, Nexus etc.

Strong scripting experience in any of the high-level programming languages Python, Java, PHP.

Good exposure to configuration & build management tools like GIT, Docker, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, Archiva.

Good exposure to AWS Services like ECS, S3, EC2, Lambda.

Knowledge of Application monitoring tools like NewRelic.

Knowledge of Logs aggregation tools like ELK stack.
