About Corporate Real Estate Services (CRES)

• CRES provides support to all business functions on Annual Branch/Office Network Expansion Plan of the Bank, Upkeep & Maintenance of existing branches & offices, Safety & Security and Administration including other Offices like RAC, Currency Chests and Regional Office.
• The department plays significant role as it deals with multiple internal/external stakeholders including vendors, various business teams and its verticals, F&A, compliance, audit etc. to ensure uninterrupted branch operations and safety of the employees besides implementing the ideas that brings cost & energy efficiencies, reductions to cost of operations and improved turn-around- time

Key Responsibilities -

Safety & Security Billing:

• Manage Pan India for Security Guards, AMCs, Command Center, QRT and other activities of Safety & Security Team.
• Certification of bills as per state wise minimum wage and releasing the payment to vendors within timelines
• Provisioning & Annual Budget of Safety & Security Department
• Ensuring availability of No Due Certificate from the vendors of various teams
• Preparing monthly MIS and Dashboards and submitting to Budget team for monitoring budget allocation v/s spends
• Record keeping of all the contracts signed with various agencies
• Ensuring proper Compliance for security and other billing
• Ensuring proper compliance from vendors

Safety & Security - Training & Compliance Officer:

• Prepare and circulate EDMs on Safety and Security and circulate to all Axis Bank officials on regular intervals.
• Prepare training program and conduct trainings for security staff in line of PSARA Act, Dacoity, Theft, Fire Incident, etc.
• Coordinate with Experts from Police, CBI, IB and other organisation for providing the Seminars and workshop for Bank officials.
• PSARA details to be verified.
• Ensure advisory to be issued during emergencies as per bank requirements.

Safety & Security - Fire Safety Officer:

• Watch out for fire hazards in the workplace while work is performed by other employees working at the office.
• Report of Stacking of unwanted scrap which can create an obstacle during any emergency situation.
• Keep flammable materials away from ignition sources.
• In the event of fire, extinguish it immediately, if possible, at the basic stage or turn a fire alarm on so that evacuation process can be implemented immediately.
• Make sure staff and other resources are aware of the exact location of firefighting equipment in the immediate area.
• Maintain constant means of communication. As much as possible, keep visual and voice contact with other employees.
• Knowledge to operate fire extinguishers, hydrants, etc, is a must.
• Ensure on-site inspections by Fire Safety officers are done by ensuring fire lanes are clear, Material storage is as far as possible from building, and the perimeter of the office is secure. Documentation of such inspection shall be recorded & retained for future reference.
• Ensure operational fire risk assessments and routine checks are carried out.
• Evacuate working staff as a first course of action on hearing of a fire alarm.
• Guide the employees to follow the evacuation procedures in case of any emergency

Safety & Security Head for Large Offices:

• Ensure all security and fire safety equipment are well maintained and in operational condition at all times.
• Ensure Visitor Management System at Major offices for smooth access to premises are maintained.
• Ensure proper managements of Internal and External Audits and closure on time.
• Organise Fire Evacuation drill at all Major offices.
• Control and deployment of security guards to ensure premises and person are safe and secure.
• Security arrangement at in Major Offices.
• Ensure good laisioning with local authority.
• Statutory compliances of vendors for PASARA 2015
• Conduct surprise visit of Major offices to evaluate security function.
• Ensure proper material movement at premises.
