The Safety Engineer is responsible for overseeing and enforcing all safety protocols and requirements at various site locations. This role involves coordinating with customers, maintaining safety documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The Safety Engineer will also conduct safety audits, promote safety awareness, and manage safety performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain all safety requirements and documentation at various sites.
Ensure adherence to all safety guidelines and update safety policies and manuals as necessary.
Coordinate with customers across different sites to ensure safety requirements are met.
Track and maintain safety reports, including near misses, safe man-hours, total man-hours, and attendance records.
Present Management Information System (MIS) reports related to safety metrics.
Conduct regular safety audits to identify and rectify potential hazards.
Promote safety awareness throughout the organization and encourage proactive safety practices
Track safety performance and ensure recognition and awards for teams that perform well in maintaining safety standards.
Develop, prepare, and update safety policies and manuals to meet current safety standards and organizational needs.
Represent safety concerns in pre-order sales meetings to ensure potential projects meet safety standards.
Analyze Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage and make recommendations for improvements or augmentations.
Candidate Profile:
Proven hands-on experience in managing HVAC projects.
Demonstrated leadership experience with the capability to manage a team of approximately 25 safety engineers.
