About the Role

The transaction monitoring unit under financial crime Intelligence is being expanded to improve our prevention & detection capabilities.

The position will -

• Actively work with cross functional stakeholders in preparing fraud risk updates to apprise senior management on

the existing /new controls, process, policies to counter fraud risk.

• Collaborate with various stakeholders within & outside the Bank with the objective of implementing

recommendations and take issues to its logical closure.

• Analyze the fraud data and recommend corrective actions based on the latest trends and modus operandi.
• Contribute to fraud prevention by evaluating existing strategies and drive new intervention. These interventions to

be backed by a solid understanding of the modus operandi of the frauds and backed by data and simulations.

• Establish and manage regular cadences with various stakeholders with an intent to share learnings and/or for closure

of any actionable or project.

• Be well conversant with relevant status, knowledge of relevant RBI circulars and policies.

Candidate should have 4- 6 years of work experience having sound understanding of the fraud landscape in digital payments.

Should have good analytical skills, excellent communication, and presentation skills. Having working knowledge of MS Office,

Onboarding & transaction monitoring system, should be abreast of latest tech tools. Candidates with prior experience in fraud risk management would be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to understand the life cycle of customer basis his interactions with payment product.
• Ability to analyze the Retail frauds and identify gaps and lacunas in policy and processes which led to the fraud.
• Recommend practical changes which will be in line with RBI policies and circulars.
• Ability to peruse the process note / SOPs across all products and assist in drafting fraud risk assessment for products

offered to bank customers.

• Understand the current systems capabilities for implementation and avoid similar frauds in future.
• Assist in analyzing root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Keep a track on the key metrics on daily basis, assist in preparation of MIS / dashboards and SOP
• Assist in developing early warning signals through open sources databases, media, and other public domains,

considering socio economic & political changes.

• Develop working relationship within Bank with relevant stakeholders for smooth functioning
