Real Estate Investment Team creates funds focusing across asset classes like residential, commercial, warehousing etc. through appropriate strategies like debt, mezzanine and equity.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual who is enthusiastic about the sector, has strong analytical skills, understands and excels the end-to-end deal cycle, financial modelling, due diligence, documentation & monitoring and compliance.

What you will Do?

1) Proactively originate new deals and broader relationships for deal flow

2) Analyse Real Estate Investment Opportunities:

• Assist the Investment Management team in analysing, structuring, negotiating, recommending, conducting due diligence, reviewing documentation and closing new deals
• Develop financial models to analyse opportunities
• Conduct research on the property sector and contribute towards qualitative and quantitative analysis

3) Execute Real Estate Investments:

• Assist in the underwriting process of real estate investments
• Manage specific aspects of the execution of the real estate investment opportunity
• Participate in due diligence meetings with partners and external advisors
• Coordinate closing activities internally and externally
• Contribute to preparation of the investment note for the Investment committee

4) Portfolio Monitoring and Asset Management

• Participate in the monitoring and management of investments and perform reviews of existing investments
• Conduct quantitative analysis of underwritten project business plans, prepare periodic reports for management and assist in identifying potential issues and in preparation of resolution plans for the issues
• Coordinate with Finance & Operations team with respect to monitoring of ongoing investments
• Review of project MIS and audit reports and ensure strong financial control and asset management
• Review of portfolio health through regular checks on the investments and deviation reporting
• Develop and track metrics to measure portfolio performance and assist in reporting to internal and external stakeholders

5) Support in fund raising activities:

• Create marketing collateral, participate in roadshows, revert to investor / distributor queries etc.

What makes you a Great Fit?

• A master’s degree or equivalent professional qualification in finance or business or Chartered Accountant
• Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in Real Estate Funds, NBFCs, Investment Banking/Fund or other Asset-Backed investment houses.
• Proven track record in deal closing process and manage post-closing obligation (e.g. legal, compliance, taxation etc.)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
