Business Analyst

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Automation Strategy: 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute an automation strategy, identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements within the Healthcare domain.

Requirements Gathering: 

• Work closely with business units to understand their needs, gather requirements, and define automation project scopes.
• Gather and document detailed business requirements related to Healthcare insurance processes of products, claims, underwriting, and policy administration.

Process Analysis & Optimization: 

• Conduct in-depth analysis of existing Healthcare insurance business processes, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Work with IT and development teams to design automation solutions, including selecting the appropriate tools and technologies to achieve automation goals.
• Work with IT and development teams to Implement automation solutions, including data capture, task automation, and workflow optimization.

Solution Assessment: 

• Evaluate and recommend automation technologies, tools, and platforms to meet business needs.

Business Case Development: 

• Create compelling business cases and ROI assessments for automation projects to secure buy-in from stakeholders.

Project Management: 

• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of automation projects, including planning, execution, testing, and deployment.
• Prioritize and manage several open issues at a time

Data & Feasibility Analysis: 

• Utilize data analysis to assess the effectiveness of automation solutions and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
• Analyze Healthcare insurance data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational improvements and risk mitigation.
• Assess the feasibility of automation projects, considering technical, financial, and operational aspects.

Continuous Improvement:

• Monitor the performance of automated processes and identify areas for continuous improvement.

Training and Documentation:

• Develop and deliver training materials for end-users and create documentation for automated processes.

Compliance:

• Ensure that automation solutions comply with relevant industry regulations and internal standards.

Communication: 

• Effectively communicate the benefits, progress, and results of automation initiatives to stakeholders at all levels.

PROFILE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on automation, process improvement, or digital transformation.
• Strong proficiency in process analysis, requirement gathering, and project management.
• In-depth knowledge of Healthcare insurance value chain around products, underwriting, claims, and policy administration.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Understanding of automation technologies, such as robotic process automation (RPA), machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
• Project management experience and familiarity with project methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CCBA) are a plus.
